Pennsylvania Fly Fishing Trip and Vacation Guide

Pennsylvania is one of those states that just has it all. The entire state is covered in trout waters flowing free and full of trout. Pennsylvania fly fishing is enjoyed by all levels of anglers. Pennsylvania fly fishing can be divided into seven regions to get a better understanding of where the trout waters are located. The Northwestern part of the state offers beautiful waters such as the Little Sandy Creek. Fly fishers can expect medium sized wild browns. Slate Run freestone bottom and Penns Creek in the Northcentral region will provide ample brook and brown trout. To the north Big Bushkill Creek adds promise to the creel. Also in the northern regions we find Lake Erie tributaries filled with steelhead. The Southern regions are closer to the big cities but still offer beautiful trout fishing. Check out the Youghiogheny River, French Creek, or the best Pennsylvania has to offer on the banks of Spruce Creek.
