Tying the Albright Knot
This knot is commonly used for tying backing line to fly line.

1 - Make a loop with the fly line and pass the end of the leader through.
2 - Wind the leader over itself five or six times. 3 - Pass the leader through the loop so it comes out on the same side. 4 - Slowly pull the four lines. Wet and tighten down. |
