Tying the Surgeon's Knot

This knot is commonly used in building leaders to join two lines together.

1 - Place leader ends side by side in opposite directions.

2 - Twist them together to form a loop.

3 - Pass both ends though the loop two more times.

4 - Wet the loops then tighten.
